Dressing for fall runs is HARD. Is it hot? Or cold? Will it rain?
Everyone’s a little bit different, but the general rule is to dress for mile 2 or as if it’s 20 degrees warmer. If you’re feeling nice and toasty standing still, you’re going to feel too hot on your run.
So what fall running accessories do you really need?
You’ll need light, moisture wicking layers to peel off in case it gets too hot. Or to put back on if it rains.
ONE| These arm warmers are like socks for your arms. You can push them up and out of the way once you warm up so you don’t have to hold them when you’re running.
FIVE | You get to regulate your temperature if you’re wearing a zippered front lightweight vest, which also has pockets!
SIX | Earmuffs! Well no, not really, but ear warmers that keep your ears warm will make your run much more enjoyable. Have you ever gotten your ears really cold and have them warm up again? Let’s avoid that, shall we?
